Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 21-100-HS001-02172

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in maroon is handwoven with floral and geometric motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The borders have twill, kuthirai(horse), mythical animal, floral and geometric patterns in gold zari, while the pallu features twill, peacock(mayil), elephant(yaanai), deer(maan), parrot(kili), floral, stylised leaf and geometric motifs all in gold zari.
