Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 22-100-HS001-00672

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This unique kanjivaram sari in dark brown is handwoven with checks enclosing self-circular motifs in gold zari, across the body. The borders have circular, geometric and thazhampoo reku(temple) patterns in gold zari. The pallu features stripes, twill and vanki(chevron) patterns in gold zari and dark brown.
