Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 23-040-HS001-10316

This classic kanjivaram sari in maroon shot with scarlet red is handwoven with chakaram motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in moss green shot with scarlet red have moplah bands, diamond, vanki(chevron), salangai(anklet) and geometric patterns in gold zari and mustard yellow, along with hints of scarlet red. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique in the same colours as the borders and features a twill band edged by kuthirai(horse), mythical animal, floral, rudraksham and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari and golden yellow, woven using the 'adai' technique.
